Upcoming short ‘Therapy’
At the end of last year I began working on an upcoming short film titled ‘Therapy’. Creating and executing ‘Therapy’ was quite challenging. When discussing making a short with the writer (Abraham Adeyemi), we played with the idea of using one location and possibly one main shot. When it came down to shooting, that again proved to be a difficult task. This wasn’t going to be a long shoot, but we ended up having an extra shooting day. A few things went wrong on our first day as we were a tiny bit unlucky. After that we had a real burst of determination to make it work. On any given shoot day sometimes you win and sometimes you learn. This was a learning process that I am grateful for. It also showed me how much I really do love filmmaking, and striving to produce something that is of a good standard. We collaborated with the DOP Justin Rang and the project already feels like a success. There is still work to be done, let the editing begin!
